CG Retail is committed to sourcing and manufacturing that supports all efforts to helping deliver the five R’s : to reduce , re-use, recycle, research and re-think.
We work closely with each of our Customers to help deliver the specific sustainable and ethical goals and targets for their organisation. All our Factory Partners are Sedex Certified as a minimum and CG Retail is experienced in carrying out factory and supplier audits, including health and safety to employment and the Bangladesh Fire Accord.
The clothing supply chain is complex and global, however by focussing on each and every stage of the production processes employed we can improve and achieve the goal of Transparency in the Supply Chain. We source raw materials on a global scale looking for the best fit for each customer we work with, these may be one or a mixture of economic, environmental, and social considerations. CG Retail can source and supply goods that are made with GOTS certified cottons, Better Cotton Initiatives (BCI) fabrics, Fair-Trade® fabrics and garments , Eco-Fibers such as Econyl® and recycled polyester, We are continually developing strategies and supply chain routes with a view to achieving a circular fashion economy.
